FMS™ K Series Seeding Systems
The perfect combination of performance, reliability and compactness
Bourgault FMS™ K-Series seeding systems feature a seeding unit with either ParaLink™ disc (CD) or HD openers and a steel air hopper with the KNEX™ seeding system.
SEEDING SECTION WITH DISC OR ANCHOR
COLLARS
The Bourgault FMS K-Series seed drill achieves an excellent balance between high performance, technology and ease of use.
The seeding complex is designed as a single seeding unit with an integrated bunker and is located in the medium seed drill segment, with a working width of 6, 8 or 9.1 meters.
All versions of the FMS™ K Series two-row disc and three-row anchor seed drills feature ParaLink™ parallelogram linkage for exceptional seed placement depth uniformity.
Both disc and anchor coulters operate independently from a robust 127 x 127 mm frame.
The front part of the unit is equipped with a high-strength coupling device that evenly transfers the traction load to the tractor.
All FMS™ Series seeders can be equipped with the MRB® III inter-row fertilizer placement system.

Transport width:
Models from 6 to 8 meters wide with a standard axle and without a rear hitch - less than 3 meters
Models with an extended axle and a rear hitch, as well as units with a width of 9.1 meters - 3.4 meters
Transport height:
Models 6 meters wide – 3.4 meters
Models 8 meters wide – 4 meters
Models with a width of 9.1 meters - 4.6 meters

PLR™ Disc Openers
UNIVERSAL OPENERS FOR CONTINUOUS SEEDING AND PRECISION SEEDING
The innovative design of PLR™ disc openers provides high strength and a number of unique advantages:
PLR™ openers can be combined with the Air Planter™ system, allowing them to be used for both solid seeding and precision seeding.
The meticulously designed PLR™ openers ensure high durability and easy adjustment. Wear-resistant components ensure years of efficient and trouble-free operation.
In solid seeding and precision seeding modes with PLR™ openers, the operator retains the ability to apply granular starter fertilizer in the same row as the seed.

PLW™ Disc Openers
EXCELLENT CONTOUR FOLLOWING AND UNIFORMITY OF SEEDING DEPTH
PLW™ disc coulters with a floating parallelogram arm ensure exceptional seeding accuracy and maintain seedbed integrity. Seeding depth is determined by the relative position of the cleaning and pressing wheels.
This design minimizes changes in working depth when the coulter encounters an obstacle or a furrow from the previous year, ensuring unrivaled precision and uniformity of seeding depth.

PLX™ ANCHOR OPENERS
EXCELLENT FIELD CONTOUR FOLLOWING, RELIABLE AND DURABLE DESIGN
The PLX™ opener with its ParaLink™ parallelogram linkage design provides a 1:1 contour following ratio, meaning for every centimeter of vertical movement of the press wheel, the opener also moves 1 cm. This, coupled with the closer positioning of the working element relative to the press wheel, allows for precise maintenance of the set working depth when seeding over a wide range of uneven surfaces.

FEATURES AND AVAILABLE OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT
INTEGRATED
PNEUMATIC HOPPER
Bourgault pneumatic hoppers are renowned worldwide for their reliability, versatility and meticulous design.
All FMS™ K-Series seeding systems are equipped with a three-section pneumatic hopper with the patented KNEX™ section integration system. The KNEX™ system allows for individual metering of product from all three sections of the hopper or the combination of multiple sections to form a single metering system. This allows for optimal utilization of the entire hopper capacity, providing additional operational flexibility and time savings in the field.

PRODUCT SUPPLY AND DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM
PDM PRO™ MEASUREMENT SYSTEM
The hydraulically driven PDM Pro™ metering system ensures superior metering accuracy and gentle seed handling. Its sophisticated design ensures complete emptying of the hopper sections, significantly speeding up system cleaning and metering auger maintenance.

CONTROL SYSTEMS
There are three control systems to choose from – XD, X35 or ISO Apollo
The XD Apollo system is a simplified version of the X35 Apollo system with a 17.8 cm diagonal monitor, but without the data reception and transmission function and the ability to apply products using maps.
The X35 Apollo system features a large 30.7 cm touchscreen monitor and Xtend™, enabling Wi-Fi connectivity with a mobile phone or tablet. In addition to a host of basic functions, the X35 monitor allows you to control the variable seeding rate system, communicate with other seeding systems, monitor the automatic section shutoff system, and much more.

Optional LiftMaster™ and PackMaster™ features (available with X35 Apollo system only)
• LiftMaster™ provides automatic lifting and lowering of working tools when turning.
• PackMaster™ provides consistent packing pressure during seeding with instant hydraulic response to changing conditions.

The Apollo ISO system allows you to use the tractor's existing virtual terminal for monitoring, calibration, and basic settings without installing an additional monitor in the tractor cab. For tractors without a virtual terminal, the optional Apollo XD monitor is available, featuring a color touchscreen and all the essential functions for monitoring and controlling the seeding system.
