GRAIN BELT DRAPER HEADERS, MODEL SP
For many years, Honey Bee has been developing and manufacturing draper headers that can significantly simplify the harvesting process and minimize crop losses. Achieving these goals led to the creation of the reliable and high-performance Grain Belt header for direct harvesting of grain and oilseed crops. The meticulously designed Grain Belt draper headers will increase combine harvester productivity by 20% or more.

Features of the SP Grain Belt Header
1.Adjustable copy wheels
To adjust the cutting height, simply pull the gauge wheel locking pin and press the lever to lock it in place. A spring mechanism provides a full 20 cm of travel for additional cushioning of the header.
2. Low-profile cutting unit
The Honey Bee's cutting unit height is now the lowest in the industry. Furthermore, to minimize crop losses, the cutting unit profile has been modified to reduce the distance from the knife to the conveyor belt by 50%.
3. Side dividers
Improved side dividers improve harvesting quality across a wide range of crops
4. Control of the speed of the canvas conveyor
The speed of the draper conveyor is controlled by the header's hydraulic system. Independent control of each conveyor allows for the fastest and most consistent feed rate of the harvested crop into the combine's feeder.
5. Adjusting the tension of the conveyor belt
A special lever allows for quick and convenient adjustment of belt tension by adjusting the position of the drive shafts. The thoughtful design allows for easy and quick cleaning of the belt and windrows from accumulated crop residue.
6. Lateral leaf springs
The suspension with lateral vertical leaf springs allows the header to oscillate freely, independent of the combine manufacturer's shock absorption system. This allows more material to pass through the combine, reducing material loss and the risk of damage to the cutting mechanism.
7. Wide header table and feed auger
The 173 cm wide center section of the table is equipped with a large 183 cm wide feed auger with retractable fingers, ensuring smooth and even material flow into the combine's feeder chamber and preventing the mown crop from wrapping. A special hatch with a convenient handle above the center section of the table allows for easy removal of foreign material (such as stones and roots), which, if accumulated, could cause the feed mechanism to jam.
8. Independent hydraulic system
The independent hydraulic system allows the Grain Belt header to be coupled to virtually any combine harvester. If necessary, the header can be easily coupled to another combine harvester by simply replacing the adapter.
9. Knife drive
The knife is controlled by an epicyclic drive with an 8.4 cm pitch, which operates between 1,285 and 1,400 strokes per minute (depending on the combine design) and prevents unwanted header vibration. The knife drive is driven by a reliable hydraulic motor, making it virtually maintenance-free. Grain Belt headers can be equipped with dual knife drives, if desired.
Grain Belt Header Options
1. Two-wheel towing device
Allows quick and safe transportation of the header behind a combine harvester or small truck. Grain Belt headers can be equipped with removable or integrated transport systems.
2. Cantilever auger
The hydraulically driven cantilever auger evenly directs the flow of mown crop from the belt conveyor to the feed auger. The auger can be adjusted to suit operating conditions and the crop being harvested. The cantilever auger significantly increases the combine's productivity when harvesting difficult crops such as rapeseed, peas, and lentils.
3. Removable means of transportation
The removable hitch, lift and axle are used for transporting or storing the header.
4. Integrated transportation means
A special niche in the header table is provided for storing integrated transport equipment, which includes a towing hitch, lift and axle.
5. Hydraulic header tilt adjustment system
The updated hydraulic tilt adjustment system significantly simplifies the harvesting process and improves the header's shock absorption.
