Increased Service Life
The four-row triangular frame structure with heavy-wall structural tubing maximizes durability by evenly distributing draft loads. The rear tow hitch is tied directly into the mainframe, allowing the hitching of large trailing air carts or liquid fertilizer caddies. Parallelogram trailing link arms on the main frame walking axles eliminate high stress points, mitigating chassis flex and fatigue during road transport.

The main frame is equipped with high-flotation 380/55R16.5 mainframe tires and dual 13.5×15 front caster wheels, delivering unmatched flotation and precise depth control while minimizing rolling resistance in wet field conditions.

WTP 4100 Wing-Type Packer
WTP Wing-Type Packers are the ideal implement for operations seeking to incorporate mechanical weed control and tillage into their one-pass seeding systems. These packers not only firm the seedbed but also level the soil surface, ensuring consistent seeding depth behind cultivator sweeps. WTP packers feature working widths ranging from 9.1 to 18.3 meters (30' to 60'), allowing them to be matched to the working width of the primary tillage implement.
Conserve Moisture, Improve Germination, Reduce Costs
Spiral packers are an indispensable tool during seeding. Packing enhances seed-to-soil contact, draws capillary moisture into the seed zone, and creates favorable conditions for uniform germination. WTP packers can also be utilized during tillage and fertilizer application passes. After packing, the field surface is firmed and leveled, significantly facilitating opener depth control during seeding. Trailing conversion kits for spiral packers are available for all Bourgault seeding systems and air seeders.
MOUNTED ATTACHMENT OPTIONS FOR 8910 & 9500
MOUNTED SPRING TINE HARROWS
They effectively level the soil profile while thoroughly distributing crop residue. Harrows are available in 3-bar or 4-bar configurations and equipped with ⅜" (9.5 mm) or 7/16" (11 mm) diameter tines. Five tine angle positions provide precise pitch adjustment. Section widths are available in 4', 5', and 6.5' (1.22, 1.52, and 1.98 m).
MOUNTED POLYURETHANE IN-LINE PACKERS
The optimal in-line packer option for field conditions requiring moderate packing force. The packer wheels feature a 20" (51 cm) diameter and a 2.5" (64 mm) profile width. They are mounted on a 1" (25 mm) diameter axle shaft with heavy-duty sealed bearings supported by an arched frame.
MOUNTED INDEPENDENT POLYURETHANE IN-LINE PACKERS
This packer configuration is recommended for operating in rocky or uneven field conditions. Each packer wheel features an independent spring suspension and a sealed, maintenance-free bearing. The independent vertical travel of each individual wheel ensures consistent, uniform packing pressure across the entire furrow width.
MOUNTED HEAVY-DUTY GANG-STYLE IN-LINE PACKERS
Available exclusively on implements configured with 10" (25.4 cm) row spacing. The 22" (56 cm) diameter packer wheels are selected based on seedbed conditions and are offered in three configurations: steel packer wheels in widths of 2¼" (57 mm) and 3½" (89 mm); semi-pneumatic rubber wheels in widths of 2" (51 mm) and 3" (76 mm); or pneumatic wheels with a width of 5½" (140 mm). When equipping implements with heavy-duty packers, a frame counterweight ballast kit or the installation of an MRB® system is required.
TITAN™ QUICK-ATTACH LEVERS
This option allows for fast, tool-free installation and changeover of mounted harrows or packers, maximizing implement versatility across diverse field operations. The integrated lever provides precise down-pressure adjustment for each harrow or packer gang, while a dual-spring cushion mechanism maintains consistent downforce throughout operation, regardless of attachment configuration.
SPS365 Soil Prep System™
COMPLETE FIELD PREPARATION IN ONE PASS
The Bourgault SPS365 Soil Prep System™ takes an innovative approach to creating ideal seedbed conditions. Engineered to size residue, fracture clods, and level the soil profile in a single pass, it delivers exceptional field finish. Operating with heavy-duty shanks spaced at 12" (30 cm), it fractures the hardpan while leaving a distinct undulating subsurface profile that optimizes seedbed moisture retention and root development. This system preserves anchored root structures and surface stubble, protecting vulnerable soils from erosion and shielding emerging seedlings from wind damage.
COULTER DISCS
The front gang features a row of 20" (51 cm) wavy coulter discs on 12" (30 cm) spacing. The coulters are mounted on a hydraulic rockshaft, allowing on-the-go depth and down-pressure adjustments to match varied field conditions. Heavy-duty rubber torsion blocks transfer consistent slicing force through heavy residue while providing reliable trip protection against stones and obstacles.
REINFORCED RACKS
Three rows of reinforced shanks feature adjustable down pressure of up to 450 kg per shank and can be raised when required. Optional kits are available for applying anhydrous ammonia or granular fertilizers using air seeders.
FINISHING HARROWS
Mounted finishing harrows follow to evenly distribute crop residue, break up surface crusting, and deliver uniform seedbed leveling. A heavy-duty parallelogram linkage maintains consistent harrow pitch and stable down-pressure across varying terrain. The unit can be configured with standard 4-bar harrows featuring 7/16" × 16" (11 mm × 406 mm) tines, or heavy-duty 3-bar harrows equipped with robust ½" × 20" (13 mm × 508 mm) tines for high-residue conditions.
ROLLING BASKETS
Spiral basket packers shatter residual clods, level ridges, and reconsolidate the seedbed for optimal seed-to-soil contact. The 14" (35 cm) diameter baskets feature eight 1" (2.5 cm) diameter spiral round rods, delivering superior crumbling and firming action at operating speeds of 12–14 km/h (7.5–8.5 mph). In-cab hydraulic controls allow the operator to adjust down-pressure on the fly to match varying soil conditions or raise the baskets completely out of work when harrowing or operating in overly wet areas.
