Highline (Canada)
Highline Manufacturing Ltd. is a subsidiary of Bourgault.
Guided by the Bourgault principles, Highline has embarked on an ambitious project to develop products that will enable it to become a market leader in livestock equipment.
The most popular and innovative equipment in the Highline product line is the bale and square bale processors, but the company also produces rotary mowers, mulchers, rock pickers, and bale transporters, all with one goal in mind: making farmers' jobs easier and more efficient.

Bale and square bale processors
The CFR system allows you to add different components to the Bale Pro roll processor to meet any need.
THE CFR MODULAR SYSTEM INCLUDES:
-
BALE PRO PROCESSOR
Highline Bale Pro bale processors quickly rotate and unwind the bale in both directions for even feeding into the shredder, eliminating dust and mold for improved forage quality. -
FEED GRINDER
The Highline feed grinder is an additional option for grinding, which in turn promotes more efficient absorption of the product by animals. -
MGI GRAIN SINDER
The grain bin with the MGI metering system allows for the production of a ready-to-use, uniformly mixed feed mass .
HOW THE CFR SYSTEM WORKS
-
Roll recycling.
-
Mixing dosed grain into the feed product.
-
The feed chopper further chops the processed hay and mixes everything thoroughly, creating the ideal ration.

1. BALE PRO PROCESSOR
Highline Bale Pro® series processors simplify and make bale processing as simple and profitable as possible. Highline offers the flexibility to choose the bale processor that best suits your needs.
Highline bale processors unwind and chop bales using chains, ensuring uniform processing of hay and straw, maximizing the optimization of all costs associated with feed and bedding production. Even if hay appears clean, mold can easily develop, negatively impacting its taste, but Highline bale processors can correct this.
Bale Pro processor design
How Bale Pro processors work
There are 2 configurations of the Bale Pro processing chamber:
Chain drum
Highline chains effectively lift and nip hay from the bale, ensuring uniform processing. The optimal chain size allows for easy bale handling, while longer chains found on competing bale processors often fail when caught by ice or debris.
The spiral arrangement of the chains ensures continuous and uniform feeding and processing of rolls.
To achieve smoother operation, the chain drum can be balanced.

2. FEED GRINDER
The unique Feed Chopper from Highline is the company's exclusive development, providing secondary processing for product grinding. Unlike fixed knives, the Highline feed chopper chops hay very finely, creating an optimal consistency for efficient metabolism. The Highline feed chopper is also an excellent pre-processing solution when used with a vertical feed mixer.
The option to retrofit a feed chopper is available on models BP 965, BP 660, BP 661 and CFR 1251.

3. MGI GRAIN SILK
During bale processing, Highline's unique MGI grain dosing system ensures uniform mixing regardless of feeding conditions. Even grain distribution in hay is crucial for creating a high-quality feed mixture. Since animals prefer grain to hay, they tend to sort the grain, leaving hay where possible. The MGI grain dosing system mixes grain directly into the hay flow (rather than placing it on top), ensuring optimal mixing. Adding grain to the feed is crucial for animals in cold weather, during the fattening period, and during late pregnancy. Adequate nutritional levels are essential for maintaining animal body condition, which is directly related to healthy calving and desired weight gain.

Self-loading platforms for transporting press rolls and square bales
BALE MOVER 1400 PRESS ROLL TRANSPORT PLATFORM
Highline offers continuous bale loading and transport using just one tractor and one operator.
Highline Bale Transport Platforms feature standard 90-degree rotating forks that automatically rotate bales, ensuring even loading without stopping at any angle.
Drive the transporter to the unloading area, tilt the platform, engage the conveyor chains, and move forward slowly. The rolls are stacked in two straight, long rows, significantly reducing the risk of damage.
FASTACK1200 FLEX SELF-LOADING SQUARE BALE TRANSPORTATION PLATFORMS
-
Unloading in one simple movement
One simple tilt is all it takes to unload tightly stacked bales evenly and smoothly onto the ground. -
Lateral bars
The side bars press down on the bales, holding them firmly in place. -
All-terrain wheels
They make the unit maneuverable on any surface, in any weather conditions. -
Bumper
Softens the impact of bale impacts on the unit, extending its service life and maintaining the integrity of the bales. -
Vice
The unique clamping system easily and quickly grips and lifts bales weighing up to 1,315 kg from any surface. -
Throwing mechanism
Adds flexibility to the bale loading process by providing the ability to stack bales with the twine down or out. -
Under your finger
Operating the FaStack is truly simple. The intuitive joystick, mounted in the tractor cab, keeps all controls within easy reach, allowing you to easily operate the tractor while simultaneously operating the FaStack.

DESIGNED TO WORK IN EXTREME CONDITIONS
-
Designed for operation in snow, ice and mud
-
Tested in extreme conditions – very hot summers and cold winters
-
Exceptional cross-country ability on large 20.5R25 wheels
-
All-wheel drive with switching to 4-wheel drive mode
-
Front discharge conveyor
HIRED HAND SELF-LOADING CUTTER
-
The self-loading cutter eliminates the need for multiple units and operators. During operation, the Hired Hand™ cleans the top layer of silage, leaving it smooth, minimizing losses.
-
The variable speed, 150 hp milling head is easy to operate and maintain, while the ribbed rubber belt quickly and evenly feeds product into the mixing air seeders.
-
The loading conveyor and milling head can operate in reverse mode for maximum precision ration control.
